HPDU　連盟杯　東京都大会

2月9日（水）、HPDU（日本高校生パーラメンタリーディベート連盟）主催の連盟杯東京都大会が行われました。

三田高校からは2年生3名のチームを結成し、大会に挑みます。

三田高校としてこの大会に参加するのは今年度が初めてでしたが、東京都大会を経た次の本選（連盟杯）出場を目指し、練習を重ねてきました。

論題が発表され、肯定か否定どちらかの立場が与えられます。

準備時間の20分間で自分たちの主張をまとめ、対戦に備えますが、相手に反論することも忘れてはいけません。

いざ、試合が始まると、ひと言も聞き漏らすまいとお互いのスピーチに耳を傾ける緊張感溢れる時間が流れます。

三田高校は4試合中3勝という良い結果を残し、見事3位を獲得しました。

3月に開催される連盟杯への切符を手にし、一段と練習に気持ちがこもります。

以下、出場した生徒の感想です。

Have you ever joined or watched a real debate in your life?

What is your image of it? I used to think that debating was hard, requiring a lot of efforts and talent but now I see it is very friendly for everybody to try. Having done some presentations and public speaking, I realized that debates can help me get more confidence in my words and make my ideas stronger. I really appreciate this opportunity to join the match with my two teammates.  I would like to thank teachers who supported us as well!
