English Drama Project Report 2

Since the beginning of the second semester, the English Club has been working on a new project: creating and performing original English plays.

In its third session, each group began rehearsing the scripts they had written themselves.

This has become a wonderful opportunity for English club members to learn from one another.

Students who are more confident in English are helping beginners with pronunciation and expression, while everyone contributes ideas for creative acting.

In previous years, our club usually held a Halloween party and played some fun games.

However, we decided to make this year’s party more meaningful by featuring an English drama performance as the main event, rather than just playing games.

We are excited to see how each group’s hard work will come to life on stage!

２学期から開始した英語劇を作って演じるプロジェクト、３回目は各グループで作ったシナリオの練習が始まりました。

英語の得意な部員が英語初心者の部員に英語の台詞回しの指導をしたり、演技の工夫のアイディアを出し合ったりしながら、部員同士で学び合える良い機会となっています。

例年は１０月末は部内でハロウィンパーティをしていたのですが、部員たちで相談した結果、今年はゲームばかりではなく英語劇発表会をメインイベントとしたハロウィンパーティにしようということになりました。
