先日、東大阪市花園ラグビー場にて「第18回 U18東西対抗戦」が開催されました。

この大舞台に、本校ラグビー部の部員が東軍代表として選出され、背番号7番（フランカー）をつけて出場しました。

■ 攻守にわたりチームに貢献

本校生徒は試合開始からノーサイドまでフル出場を果たしました。

全国トップレベルの選手たちが集う中、持ち前の運動量で攻守の要としてグラウンドを縦横無尽に駆け回り、

チームの勝利に大きく貢献する素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せてくれました。

本校ラグビー部が創部されて以来、「花園」のフィールドでプレーする生徒が誕生したのは今回が初めてとなります。

部にとって、そして学校にとっても、歴史的な一歩となる記念すべき一日となりました。

当日は遠方にもかかわらず、多くの関係者が現地へ駆けつけました。

校長先生をはじめ、先生方やコーチ、そして共に汗を流してきたラグビー部の部員たちがスタンドに集結しました。

顧問も含め、皆が一丸となって送った声援は、代表生徒の背中を強く後押ししました。

Title: A Historic First! Student Plays Full Match at Hanazono in the U18 East-West Showdown

Recently, the "18th U18 East-West Match" was held at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Higashiosaka.

On this grand stage, our rugby club member, Kosuke Hino, was selected to represent the East Team. He took the field wearing jersey number 7 (Flanker).

He played the entire match, from kickoff to the final whistle. Surrounded by top-level players from across the nation, he utilized his characteristic high work rate to cover the ground tirelessly as a linchpin of both offense

and defense. He delivered a spectacular performance that significantly contributed to the team's victory.

This marks the first time since the founding of the Mitaka High School Rugby Club that one of our students has played on the legendary field of "Hanazono." It was a momentous and historic day for both the club

and the school.

 

Despite the distance, many supporters rushed to the venue. The Principal, teachers, coaches, and fellow rugby club members who have trained alongside him gathered in the stands.

Together with the club advisor, the united cheers from the school community provided a strong push of encouragement for him.
