【国際教育】長期留学生Diary No.６（遠足編！）

台湾からの長期留学生　陳羿彤（ちんげいとう）さんの本校での探究活動の体験記です。

新学期が始まってから約3週間後、楽しみにしていた校外学習がありました。高校2年生はグループで行き先を話し合って決めました。文化・歴史、観光名所、大学の3つのジャンルから、それぞれ1か所以上行くというルールがありました。朝は東京駅で集合して点呼を受け、最後は新宿の東京都庁都民広場で解散する以外は、全て自由行動でした。
私たちのグループは、日本銀行、国立新美術館、青山学院大学、そして明治神宮に行きました。最初に東京駅の近くにある日本銀行に行きました。中には入りませんでしたが、外から見ても歴史を感じる立派な建物でした。
次に行ったのは国立新美術館です。私は前にも行ったことがありますが、展示を見るのは今回が初めてでした。今回は書道展を見て、どの作品もとても丁寧に作られていて感動しました。また、美術館の建物自体も芸術のようで、「君の名は」に出てきた場所も見ることができて楽しかったです。
その後、表参道駅の近くにある青山学院大学に行きました。キャンパスはとてもきれいで、アクセスも良かったです。学校の食堂で昼ごはんを食べました。カレー、唐揚げ、ラーメンなどいろいろなメニューがあり、私はカツ丼を選びました。券売機で食券を買って、カウンターで渡すスタイルでした。値段も安くて、量も多くて、とてもおいしかったです。
昼食の後は、最後の目的地である明治神宮に行きました。観光客がとても多くて、日本人より外国人の方が多いと感じたほどでした。みんなで記念写真を撮りたかったので、周りの外国人に英語で声をかけて撮ってもらいました。少し緊張しましたが、楽しい思い出になりました。
参道を歩きながら神社の中へ進み、歴史ある雰囲気を感じることができました。神社を出た後には、ストリートパフォーマンスも見ることができました。中には見たことのない楽器を使っている人もいて、とても面白かったです。
最後に東京都庁の都民広場で点呼をして解散しました。その後、友達に連れられて東京都庁の展望台に初めて上がりました。上から見る東京の景色はとてもきれいで、有名な観光地や建物の場所もよくわかりました。
今回の校外学習は、台湾での団体行動とは全く違いました。自分の興味で行き先を決められたし、グループのメンバーと相談したり、交通やスケジュールを調べたりする中で、コミュニケーションや計画を立てる力も身につきました。また、新しいクラスメートとも仲良くなれて、良い経験になりました。

About three weeks after the school year started, we went on our long-awaited field trip. For this trip, each group was allowed to decide their own destinations.The only rule was that we had to visit at least one place from each of the three categories: cultural/historical sites, tourist attractions, and universities. Aside from gathering for roll call at Tokyo Station in the morning and ending at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, the rest of the schedule was up to us, so the trip was very flexible and free.
Our group decided to visit the Bank of Japan, the National Art Center, Aoyama Gakuin University, and Meiji Shrine. First, we walked from Tokyo Station to the nearby Bank of Japan. Although we didn’t go inside, the building’s exterior gave us a strong impression of its historical and formal atmosphere.
Next, we visited the National Art Center. I had been there before, but this was my first time entering the exhibition area. We saw a calligraphy exhibition, and each piece was extremely detailed, showing the unique style and emotion of each artist. For me, the building itself was also like a piece of art. Its flowing architecture and wide, open interior were very impressive, and we could even see a scene from the anime Your Name. It looked different and beautiful from every angle.
After that, we took the train to Aoyama Gakuin University, located near Omotesando Station. The campus was beautiful and easy to access, giving off a relaxed and spacious feeling. We ate lunch in the school cafeteria, where there were many options like curry, karaage, and ramen. I chose pork cutlet rice bowl (katsudon). We first bought meal tickets from a vending machine and then gave the ticket to the staff at the counter. The food was cheap, filling, and very tasty.
After lunch, we went to our last stop—Meiji Shrine. As expected, there were many tourists, and it even felt like there were more foreigners than Japanese people. When we wanted to take a group photo, there were only foreigners around, so I was asked to speak English and ask someone to help us take the picture. It was a fun little episode. After that, we walked slowly along the main path into the shrine, soaking in the historic atmosphere and realizing how huge the grounds of Meiji Shrine are. As we left, we saw some street performers outside, including one playing an instrument I had never seen before. Each performance was unique and fun to watch.
After finishing our route, we returned to Shinjuku and gathered at the plaza in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to check out and disband. One of my friends then took me up to the observation deck of the building. It was my first time there, and I was amazed by the panoramic view of Tokyo. It helped me better understand the layout of the city and where famous landmarks are located.
This field trip was very different from the kind of standardized trips I experienced in Taiwan. Not only could we choose places based on our own interests, but we also practiced planning and communication skills by discussing the schedule, checking transportation routes, and managing our time as a group. It was a fun and meaningful day where I also got to know my new classmates better.

開學後大約第三週，迎來了令人期待的校外學習。高二的行程由各小組成員自行討論決定，只需在文化歷史、觀光景點、大學這三個類別中各參訪至少一個地點即可。除了早上在東京車站集合點名，最後在新宿東京都廳的都民廣場解散，其餘行程皆由學生自由安排，整體活動相當自由有彈性。
我們小組選擇參觀的地點包括日本銀行、國立新美術館、青山學院大學與明治神宮。首先，我們從東京車站步行前往鄰近的日本銀行，雖然這次沒有進入館內參觀，但光從建築外觀就能感受到它莊嚴厚重的歷史氣息。
接著我們前往國立新美術館。雖然我之前曾到過那裡，但這次是第一次真正進入展覽區欣賞作品。我們參觀的是一場書法展，每件作品都極為精緻，展現出不同書法家的風格與情感。對我而言，美術館本身也是一座藝術品，無論是流線型的建築外觀，還是館內開闊的空間設計，都令人讚嘆，甚至能看見出現在《你的名字》中的場景，從不同角度觀賞都別具風味。
之後，我們搭乘電車前往位於表參道站附近的青山學院大學。校園環境優美、交通便利，給人一種自在開闊的感覺。我們在校內的食堂用餐，菜色豐富，包括咖哩、唐揚雞、拉麵等，最後我選擇了豬排丼。用餐流程是先購買餐券，再將餐券交給櫃檯人員兌換餐點。這裡的餐點價格實惠、分量足又很美味。
午餐後我們前往最後一站——明治神宮。這裡如預期般遊客眾多，甚至讓人覺得外國觀光客比日本人還多。當我們想拍一張全體合照時，因為周圍幾乎都是外國人，我便被推派去用英文請路人幫忙拍照，這也成為一個有趣的小插曲。拍完照後，我們沿著參道緩步前行，沉浸在濃厚的歷史氛圍中，也親身感受到明治神宮腹地的廣闊。離開時，我們在外圍還看到了幾場街頭藝人的表演，其中甚至有使用我從未見過的樂器，內容精彩多元。
結束行程後，我們返回新宿，在東京都廳都民廣場點名解散。朋友還特地帶我登上東京都廳的展望台，這是我第一次上去，能夠俯瞰整座東京市區的壯觀景色，對認識各大觀光地標與城市分布也有了更具體的概念。
這次的校外學習和我以往在台灣參加的統一行程非常不同。不但可以根據自己的興趣安排行程，更能透過與組員一起討論、查詢交通方式與規劃時間，培養溝通協調與行程設計的能力。在自由又豐富的過程中，也讓我更加認識並拉近了與新同學之間的距離。
