留学生 Matthew（マシュー）君、来日！

9月8日から12月25日までの約3か月間、留学生 Matthew（マシュー）君 が本校の仲間に加わります！
長期滞在なので、特別に彼専用の時間割を組み、さまざまな授業に参加予定です。もしかすると、あなたの隣の席に座る日もあるかもしれませんよ。

もちろん、初めての国・初めての学校生活で心細いこともあるはず。そんな時に一番の力になるのは、やっぱり 皆さんの笑顔と声かけ です。まずは「Hello！」や「Good morning！」など、シンプルな挨拶からコミュニケーションを広げてみてください。

ちなみにマシュー君、とてもユニークで優秀なんです✨

• 将来の夢は シルク・ド・ソレイユ に携わること！ 現在はサーカス団に所属していて、舞台裏での仕事経験もあるそうです。

• さらに システムエンジニア として活動していたり、多彩な一面を持っています。

• 得意科目は 数学。すでに大学レベルもマスターしていて、本校の数学の授業も「復習だね😎」と余裕の表情。

これからの学校生活の中で、きっと皆さんにもたくさんの刺激を与えてくれることでしょう。
マシュー君と過ごす3か月間を、ぜひ一緒に楽しんでください！

Welcome, Matthew!

From September 8 to December 25, a new friend will be joining Harumi — Matthew!
Since he will be staying for a long period, we have created a special schedule for him so that he can take part in many different classes. You may even find him sitting right next to you one day.

Of course, being in a new country and a new school without knowing the language can be a little lonely at times. That’s why your smile and a simple “Hello!” are the best gifts you can give him. Start with greetings, and let communication grow from there.

And here’s something exciting about Matthew ✨

• His dream is to work with Cirque du Soleil. He is already part of a circus troupe and has experience working backstage.

• He has also worked as a system engineer, showing just how multi-talented he is.

• His strongest subject is mathematics. In fact, he has already mastered university-level math! He even says that our math classes feel like a “review” for him 😎.

During the three months he spends with us, we’re sure Matthew will inspire us in many ways.
