2月8日(水)に開催した第10回合唱祭にも御参加くださり、次のメッセージを頂きました。ご覧ください。
 

Den-en-chofu High School’s Chorus Contest
 
　　I have had the pleasure of once again being a part of Den-en-chofu High School’s Chorus
Contest. Every year in February, the school holds its annual Chorus Contest in which
the 1^st year and 2^nd year classes compete to win an award for the best choral performance.
The songs performed vary from emotional ballads to joyful and upbeat songs. This year’s
celebration was just as wonderful and enjoyable as last years. I was impressed with
the amount of effort the students put into practicing their songs, especially after school.
Coming from the U.S. where school events like these are very rare, it was very interesting
and exciting to see how students prepared for this event. Their hard work was evident
in their outstanding final performances.
　　I also had the honor of singing along with the parents and school teachers on stage.
I enjoyed singing together with everyone and I was delighted to hear my students laughing
and cheering in the audience. I am sure they enjoyed watching me sing in Japanese
since I only use English during English lessons. Like them, I am still learning many things
and I am positive I will learn more in the future. I am grateful for this experience and
I hope to continue making more wonderful memories alongside the students and teachers here
at Den-en-chofu High School.
