JETの先生は、本校にいらして約1年半になります。生徒思いの大変、熱心な先生で、授業や放課後の個別指導で生きた英語を生徒に教えてくださいます。
12月10日(土)に開催した第3回学校説明会では、JETの先生から次のメッセージがありました。ご覧ください。
Den-en-chofu High School Speech
Hello. Good afternoon. I am very happy to be here with you today. I am from Los Angeles,
California and I have been living here in Japan for one year and a half. I help teach English
here through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. I came to Japan to learn more about
the Japanese language and culture and to share my culture as well.
Den-en-chofu High School is a wonderful school with very hardworking teachers and really
good students. In our school, we have many exciting school events such as the sports festival
in June, “Paulownia-sai” in September, and the chorus festival in February.
Our school clubs are very fun too! We have many interesting clubs where you can make
new friends through the club activities. And if you like English or you wish to study abroad
in countries like Australia or The United States; this is your chance to do so, here at
Den-en-chofu High School. The English teachers and I can help you become better at
speaking, listening, writing, and reading in English. You can also learn about many cultures
around the world!
Please remember. When you learn English, it is OK to make mistakes! Nobody is perfect.
So please do not be shy and try your best! I am looking forward to seeing you next year!
