オーストラリア「Henley校」とスカイプで第2回研究交流

A Skype meeting with Henley High School in Adelaide 

　
　平成28年2月25日（木）の3・4時限、学校設定科目「小石川フィロソフィー2」の「英語で科学を学ぶ」の講座において、オーストラリアHenley校とインターネットのスカイプを使用して研究交流をしました。
　Henley校は、3年次のオーストラリア海外語学研修で毎年訪問している学校であること、また、時差が1時間半でもあることから相互の念願である第2回研究交流を実施したものです。
　当日は、Henley校の生徒が自己紹介をしました。
　その後、本校の生徒が自己紹介し、本校「英語で科学を学ぶ」の講座を受講している生徒によるの2つの研究発表が英語でなされました。
　発表後は、質疑応答や今後の研究交流についての期待を述べるなどして、1時間の交流を終えることができました。
　参加した生徒にとって研究のふり返りとなる楽しく充実した授業となるとともに、今後の発展した研究交流の取組みが楽しみです。
　
　A Skype meeting with Henley High School in Adelaide, Australia was held on Feb. 25th, 2016. Our students, who took “English for Science” class from Koishikawa’s philosophy curriculum ( a special class at Koishikawa ), took part in the meeting.
　Henley High School is one of the schools where Koishikawa 3th graders stay during their Study Tour to Australia. Thanks to the small differences in time between Tokyo and Adelaide, we were able to have the meeting through Skype.
　At the beginning of the meeting, we introduced ourselves. Next, three Koishikawa students gave two presentations on their chemistry experiments. After the presentations, the Henley teachers and students asked us several questions on the presentations, our school and Japan.
   After about an hour of lively discussion, the meeting came to an end with everyone looking forward to the next conference.

 楽しかった第2回スカイプによる「英語で科学を学ぶ」授業を無事に終え、研究交流の発展を期待しつつ終了です
